Phx pulled the paints out yesterday so I thought, "Meh, we'll give it another try." (Last week when we painted, Phx poured his water all over the table when he was done. It would be too, too easy just to say, "Mom, I'm done. Can you take away my water now?" Also, not as much fun.)

At one point, Lutece came into the kitchen with her water cup and said, "Mom, can you change my water? It's as black as an oyster shell." Where does she come up with these things?

The budding artist . . . who spent the entire day with her shirt on backwards, cause that's the way she put it on.

Ahh, yes. And lest you think I've forgotten about my son (impossible with the trail of destruction he leaves in his wake), here he is reading/listening to his new favorite book, Philadelphia Chickens (here's a shout-out to the Jenkins . . . thank you again!) He decided after, umm, 3 minutes that he wasn't really interested in painting after all.
