Ahhhhh. Spring has arrived! Last weekend we had temperatures in the mid to high 80s, so it's been a relief to get back down to the 60s and 70s. Everything is in bloom, even the kids. Here's Lutece, exposing herself in her new spring dress (thank goodness for leggings).
Lutece asks for braids regularly, but dangitall, pigtails are just easier and less time-consuming. I found a little extra time this morning before she had to go to preschool.
I can FINALLY post some pictures of the kids because FINALLY they don't have perpetual snotty noses. I am sorely hoping we've left the nonstop colds behind, but I'm not convinced. I wish Phoenix would hurry up and get an immune system. Anyway, here's our little man at 19 months old. Not so little any more. Everyone keeps telling us he looks more and more like Stayc every day, which is just fine with me.
They have their moments. Acually, I think there are, on the whole, more of these moments than the "MOOOOOMMMM, Phoenix is in my room!!! Get him out!!!"-variety.
I'm not usually one for those food-all-over-the-face photos. Frankly, messy is rarely cute in my eyes. However, I had to laugh when I handed Phoenix a quarter of his sandwich, went back into the kitchen to get something and came back in, scant seconds later, to find this. He refuses to be fed these days, so we'd better get used to it.
